He also became best friends with Sam Goode. because of this, John and Mark (Sarah’s ex-boyfriend) instantly became enemies. While in Paradise, John falls for Sarah Hart, a junior student at Paradise. This also means that Number Three is dead so they decided to leave immediately because the Mogs might find them sooner or later. During the first chapters of the book, John and Henri were forced to move to Paradise due to an incident where John’s friends saw his ankle shine so brightly. This book mostly revolves around Paradise, Ohio.

It was proposed that there will be a total of 6 books excluding all the Lost Files or what I like to call the Mini Series. It is very unfortunate if you haven’t read any of the books. If any of the Garde join each other then the charm is broken. The bad thing is, the charm only works if the Garde are far from each other. In short, the charm has the ability to reverse the effect of any Mog who harms a Garde out of order. An example of the charm’s effect is that when a Mog tries to kill Number Six but they haven’t killed Numbers 1-5, Number Six won’t die, instead the Mog will die. The truth is, the Mogs have no way of identifying which number is which. You might wonder how the Mogs can identify whether it is Number One or whether it is Number Five and so on. This magic that keeps the Mogs from killing the Garde out of order is all because of the Loric Charm.
Likewise, they have to kill numbers 1-7 if they want to kill Number Eight. So this means that the Mogadorians must kill number One first before they can kill Number Two. Why do you think that the tiitle of the books are always about numbers like, I Am Number Four, The Power of Six and the Rise of Nine? The rulers of the planet Lorien assigned each of the Garde with a number. However the Garde can only be killed in order of their numbers. Also, they have to kill these Garde because they can get stronger and the Garde can kill the Mogadorians. why should they kill the Garde? Simply because the Garde are the only ones who can stop their other plan which is to take over Earth. The bad thing is, the Mogadorians have this aim: to kill all the Garde. This guardians will help them hide and train them so they can become stronger and be able to fight the Mogadorians.
These children, also known as the GARDE (this are Lorics with powers like telekinesis, night vision etc.).came to Earth with their CEPANS or guardian. This children possess Legacies or powers and are expected to assume the roles of those who once ruled their planet, Lorien. They handed each Cepan with a chest which symbolizes their Inheritance. The Elders or the rulers of the planet Lorien told the guardians that they must keep on moving from one place to another in order to stay away from the Mogs. So now, there was this spaceship that escaped to Earth. The LORICS (citizens of planet LORIEN) fought but unfortunately they lost. So the plot is a bit complicated, but it all started when the Mogadorians (MOGS for short) invaded a planet called LORIEN. This name is just a pseudonym! The real name of the authors are Jobie Hughes and James Frey. So to start with, the author of the book is Pittacus Lore. Hey Guys! I know you’re not all that familiar with the I Am Number Four Book Series, the series is also known as the LORIEN LEGACIES.
